once again:  Friday 18.

As a small workaround for the "modified content issue"-kick, we reverted our server partially back to v1.1

That means:
# "Modified Content"-kick and  not being able to reconnect until the new round startet should be gone
# First Strike Mod Ranking remains intact! (Your stats are submitted to the central ranking page)

Two issues, that will come up again with the roll back, but are not as severe as the content-kick (we think)
#1 it may be the case, that the server will crash. But this is not a problem, because our server is set to restart after a few seconds. So in case you got a disconnect, please reconnect and have fun again, because this kick wont be permanent like with the "modified content"-issue
#2 Endor wont end until all imperial trooper are dead. So, please be a kind trooper and just give up hope if all controlpoints are captured by the rebels. You cant take them back, once captured by the enemies. Please do not hide or anything and destroy the others fun - be like a man and choose a way of most effectfull death ;D

So, stroming the last Cp, wiping out any remaining rebel troopers, then suiciding is ok? smile

It seems that the workaround didn't help. We did a lot of tests on thursday and it seemed to run well, but the first players that connected to the server on friday evening (taloraan running) at once reported the content error - an i was affected to ^^

Biiig sry 4 that. 

For next friday, we will fully revert to v1.1 so we may have some server stability issues and the endor-problem ( @ twigs that would be ok .. also finishing the round alive should be a challenge to the rebels big_smile ), but get rid of the content bug (which is more annoying than the stablitiy issue (sry @ devteam wink )

I had alot of issues with punkbuster last night.. I also got a new one, I think i should start collecting them or some thing..

"Punkbuster packet loss"  Is the new one i got last night... But for some odd reason, Since it was suffering from "Retardation" and couldnt seem to operate properly, it decided to kick me repeatedly and not give a explaination.

Just wondering what would be the harm if we had non-Punk buster servers?

Hackers, I know I've seen punkbuster flash up that it's kicking someone for attempting to use a known game hack. So...suffer from issues in the early stages but play knowing that there is unlikely to be hackers in game, or play without PB and takes your chances when everyone suddenly becomes a suspected hacker.
