Re: Targeting a Ships resources.

Back on topic, How difficult would it be to make.. say a transport ship template look like a gallofree.
And making the systems targetable.  Shields first, weps, controls, then engines.. and its destroyed.

Dev input would be appreciated.

Do..or do not, there is no try !

Re: Targeting a Ships resources.

Or a map where you need to take the bridge of a Star Destroyer.  You start in or near the hangar and fight your way through.  Maybe take the reactor room, brig, armory, etc.  Have terminals every once in awhile that links to scanner in a certain part of the ship.  Or an escape from the Star Destroyer, similar to the escape from the Leviathan in FFXII.

Re: Targeting a Ships resources.

Speaking of targetting:
If a ships subsystem is possible to destroy (like the guns of the Stardestroyer in "Escape from Hoth") where should be an Icon over it.
So a Squadleader can mark this sub system as target for his squad.

Offtopic:
Ever tryed to set as squadleader in Battle of Talorian a "Attack" Order on a enemy B-Wing ? big_smile

Re: Targeting a Ships resources.

It works... just think about a single B-Wing, it's position marked for a whole squad of 6 Fighters with "attack here"
-> "Rebel Terminated" big_smile
