You'll find the FirstStrike DeathStar map is far more involved than most incarnations of it in other games. I think at one time it was planned for an earlier release but it was decided to do it 100% right than just rush something out the door that might not satisfy everyone.

Yeah, that is correct, Battle of Yavin almost made it into the first release but was deemed not quite ready for public consumption and shelved till the second release, and I'm glad we did as this map is now far more polished in many ways making it well worth the wait.

Regarding the weapons accuracy, it is something that I have been campaigning to see rectified (as it is something about the mod that annoys me too) and hopefully it is something that we will address in a future release.

I can appreciate that. But star wars games need a classic battle. so maybe you should've concentrated on the deathstar for the first release.  Something to get our teeth into. Just a suggestion.

I was fairly sure endor and escape from hoth both fit into that category..

I was just going to say that. You've got Endor and the escape from Hoth, both of which are directly from the movies.

I would imagine, that the fs team are holding back til the 1.5 patch is released for 2142 then it will gather more players than the problem with running 1.1 (patch 1.25) when most bf2142 players were using 1.4.
