hey thanks, yeah im in + 8 GMT and live on the west coast of Australia, though im still not sure why i can find any servers now, im pretty sure i didnt get a test build of i unchecked everything except for same mod and nothing happens, well hopefully 1.2 will fix these issues.

thanks for the link, i thought that it was only FS not working but it turns out even normal bf2142 does not show any servers, so hopefully like the link says gamespy will fix my problem.

now its getting a little annoying i finally install gamespy comrade which seems to be working, and picks up FS servers. But then I get this error and i have the dvd in, and i even tried installing a no cd patch im running it with administrator.

ok didnt turn out to well but it says

'Pleasure ensure the Battlefield 2142 Install Disc is in the drive, select OK and restart the application.'

hmmm... so obviously i might have to reinstall bf2142.

BF2142 does that frequently.  Just take your disc out and put it back in a few times, sometimes you have restart your PC too.  The disc reading methods it uses are terrible.

thanks for the answers, i appreciate it but still no dice, im gettin annoyed with bf2142 as it is also doing it when i try start it up normally, i think i might aswell reinstall bf2142 all together.
