Although I liked the original Clone Wars, I'm not a fan of the look of the 3D version.  Also the Clone Wars in general are a time period I'm not a huge fan of.

Well, this just looks like it covers some things during the clone wars time frame.. would have rather it been live action with some cg .. but this is cool for the kids that have been watching the cartoons.

I would rather Lucas make eps 7,8,9. Focusing on the plot of the books.
I had a hardback book when i was 9 that said lucas was originally going to make 12 films.. then he cut it down to 9 then 6.. hopefully he gets someone to complete at least till 9.

You need to give up on Eps 7-9 dude, Lucas has said many times that it will never happen, not by him or anyone else.  Star Wars is the story of Anakin, that story ended with Return of the Jedi.

That said, the new live action series doesn't concern Anakin or the Skywalkers, although it's within the time period of the movies (i.e. between eps 3 and 4).

The new Clone Wars trailer looks fantastic, and far more cinematic than I expected. I think there may even be a chance it ends up being one of the best Star Wars films, even though it's technically not a Star Wars film!  Sorry, did I just swear?
