Topic: new mp3s for 1.2

those sound so much like the old vector graphics arcade game or even the old console games. didn't really notice anything different than original music but well done. what did you use to compose it with? anyway ii've always loved the music from the series and this is up there to me.

I'm surprised to hear more precise reproductions of the John Williams score in the new music, rather than music that skirts around certain pieces from the movies. Can anyone comment on the music for the other future maps; will they also use reproductions of the actual score, rather than self composed variations?

Hi, I'm pretty sure that this is just a one off with regards to reproducing Williams' pieces.
I think for those of us that have lived with the battle of Yavin for 30 years, could only imagine it sounding one way.
The future maps and any re-writes for current maps will be self composed variations, hopefully in the tradition of JW's style.

Man as a composer using a MIDI sequencer and a modern orchestral instrument sample library, I'd find that pretty insulting! lol
