Topic: Installed but will not run game

I have installed the game, get through everything (installing full 1.1 and have 2142 1.4)

I log in, get online, see no multiplayer games but do connect to the EA main server - I get all my 2142 stats. 

When I try to launch a single-player game, I get to the Mos Entha loading screen, it completes loading, I click on the "play" button (or whatever, in the lower right corner) and see the next screen, but everything then dies and crashes back to desktop.

Any help?

SP doesn't work

It's hilarious how this guy's experience mirrors that of so many potential FS fans'....

Most people do not bother to even post on the forums and probably deleted the mod after checking it out back around release time.  Shame.

hopefully the new main menu text will alleviate this some, and of course the future implementation of the SP mod

That fixed it, all is well.

For the developers:  I did see the accolades from PC Gamer and installed it (and removed it 3 times) before posting.  In the end, I figured it must work (somehow) if PCGamer put it up as "mod of the month."

Everything goes on as it should, the problems begin once the interface comes up.  It looks cool, but yes, probably MANY downloaded it, couldn't get it to work, and walked away.
