Hm, any clue what could be wrong? When i join the most populated server with Battle over Yavin (Deathstar) i get  in the map, see a black picture, some fragments of the deathstar, and two planets in space, but then i only hear sound from the fight going on, but cant join in cos theres no menu, but just when im about to tab out because i cant press escape the menu pops up (every time when i tab)  but the game crashes from the tabbing I can play the other server with like a few players, but its another map.
And i installed bf2142 from clean, then 1.4 patch, then FS 1.2 and went on.

This is the problem with people who have vista and an Nvidia graphics card.  You cannot play yavin because the devs do not believe there is a fix for this.
