Just a heads up to everyone, in the 1.2 release we accidentally broke these two maps.  We will be releasing a hotfix this weekend that will restore their standard functionality, but hopefully you can enjoy the new maps as well as the old land maps until that point.

We recommend server admins drop them from their rotation for the time being.

Yep, cap ship speeds on Taloraan got screwed up.  We experimented with destructible engines on these, so that you could disable them, but there was some miscommunication and it never got fully restored.

Destructible engines sound cool. Is that something that is planned for further updates, or was it scrapped entirely?

lack of time.  Cover geometries for the engines had to be altered, we couldn't get the effects working right, and that is assuming we weren't going to have the geometries represent the destroyed bits but just have lots of smoke cover the broken bits
