Your probably right...

I'm hoping that Mech wont make it in... thats far from what I could see actually being used in the military in the future, I mean, giving your vehicle legs will only make your vehicle more vulnerable to enemys... AT-STs vs the Ewoks are proof of this. XD

I think, maybe they show us what is possible with the new engine, cause the engines used for B1942 and BF2 (almost the same engine, just some extra unlocks and new graphical engine) cannot really have walking animations for vehicles smile

But it is possible they gonna use this kind of mechs in the new game, I think C & C also has this kind of mechs and C & C is made by EA ( in the past by Westwood) and DICE is part of EA, so I think it is pretty clear in what direction they go (Commander in BF2, u played the commander in C & C)

I think that is the BF2 engine, perhaps a bit enhanced. And now that I've thought about it, it all makes sense. It will be on the BF2 engine or possibly an improved BF2 engine (think BFV - revamped bf42 engine). And they'll probably decide to put out new editor tools and maybe even some docs with it. Forcing mods like this one and mine to buy and mod the new version.. greedy bastards lol
