Thanks for the feedback.   

Rest assured, we have been working on improving the AI.   The plan is to integrate SP/coop support into the mod, but there were some major issues that had to be overcome first.  It will just take some coding changes which we have been waiting until after the 1.2 release.   

We will update the mini-mod to support the 1.2 release and we have a couple of the new maps that have bot support ready. 

We also plan to have larger combat area support in the future.

Please please please make co-op for FS 1.2. The "Not supported" buttons under singleplayer and co-op are very discouraging. I'm screwed since I downloaded the 2142 1.5 beta, thinking "well last time they had a beta then released the official patch and said if you had the beta the official patch had no changes versus the beta". I want lan party capabilities so please add bot support.

The plan is to integrate single player/coop into the next major release of the First Strike mod.  In the meantime,  you can look forward to updates to the single player mini-mod.

Hey,
I tried this out and all i can say is that i can´t play it cause my PC can´t handle 25 AI Bots per team so can you please add something like a this litle programm where you can select how many bot are in the battle. This Programm is used in NX Offline Mod: Here´s a picture of it.

This would be cool

you can  easily do it yourself.

Go to FS_SP in bf2142/mods then find the AI folder, open aidefault.con with a simple text editor like notepad and then read it, it explains everything for you.

What's good news.

I'm going to build a new PC soon, and i plan to use my old Northwood P4 @ 3Ghz 2 GB RAM as server for LAN-Partys...
...runnig FirstStrike Singleplayermod as COOP.

Even with only Singleplayer ... the old trick with one is setting up a singleplayer match on his machine and the others join to his IP should work with FS_Singleplayer to...
