Topic: Some problem with the chooseable weapon

I have the problem that on some server I can't chose for example the medic other weapon. But the other class weapons are fine + I seen player using that weapon soo its not locked by the server. I have no idea why, could somebody help with it (the problem is that weapon is my favorite big_smile) ?

Some servers haven't unlocked all the kits and weapons, which means you will only have them if you have those class unlocks in vanilla. I avoid servers that cant follow instructions on how the mod should be set up.

I too have had the same problem where I was unable to customise my kit but others could in the same game. I put it down to a server glitch and carried on. Some servers have been incorrectly set up tho and do not allow you to customise

Well that definitely not working for me big_smile but okay soo its a server glich sad but atleast half of the servers have this... Well never mind then, its not that important, I just wanted to know why I can't use my favorite weapon. Thanks for the answers

Server admins should have unlocks set to give everyone tier 1, the files we provide do this, but a lot of people don't listen.  If they don't turn this on, you get the unlocks for the different kits based on the tier 1 unlocks you've earned in vanilla.

That would explain why even though there are more and more servers every day, there are some that remain empty while others are maxed out. tongue

Maybe a flashing banner on the home page or download page would help?     Yeah, probably not.   I guess they're just as eager to set up as we are to play. Well I hope they realize they need to fix their settings before too long. hmm

Nice to see some servers running in Japan now too.
