Topic: First Strike Starup error

Own: Battlefield 2142:Deluxe Edition, running 1.4
Windows XP Sp2
NVIDIA GeForce 6800

When I star up the FS shortcut on my desktop, sometime it says that i need to put in the original battlefield 2142 disk instead of backup 1000. This is fixed by canceling it and running the shortcut again.
If there is a way to fix that, please tell me, it's quite annoying.

Second, sometimes it comes up with a shader error. Pic Bellow.

when i start up battlefield, and then select first strike, it works fine, but something wonky is going on here. If there is a fix, plz help, i hate to have to keep opening 2 programs, takes like 20 minutes.
