Topic: Installed hotfix and game wont start

Hi,

I have just installed the hotfix and gone to start the game and it will not load.
it says:
"Please ensure battlefield 2142 Install disc is in the drive, select OK and restart the application"

But the disc is in and it was fine to play before installing the hot fix.


Any ideas??

Uninstall it all (including BF2142), reinstall BF2142 and the 1.40 patch, then install FS 1.2, then the new hotfix.

Yeah saw that and had a look.

will try the re-install and see how that works.

The re-install did not work it still comes up with the same message. sad

what is your OS?
i had the same issue when i tried to force the game into xp-mode (i have vista) to fix the yavin map.
