Re: Realistic AT-AT and AT-ST walking

Here is something I was wondering. Is it possible to have the feet angel to the ground? Example... The AT-AT is going downhill. It wouldn't be realistic if the whole thing was angled parallel to the ground. So could the feet angle themselves, and keep the main part up at 0 degrees? (until it gets so steep where the body has to shift forward)

That's a good question because in that other star wars mod, when ATST walked uphill, the whole mesh was under some weird and angle and it looked like it should fall (but it didn't).

and when it felt, it bounced till it was back on his feet roll

Re: Realistic AT-AT and AT-ST walking

in theory it should go to the angle of the terrain, just like tanks and anyother vehicle in BF2 at present.

That's not good hmm Can't you fix that somehow? If you can't, maybe you can make maps that doesn't have steep hills or something like that?

Well most of the terrain was flat where to at-sts were walking, as the at-ats (less problems for at ats to stay stable on an angle)

I dont think the the game has the physics to supply that feature....
