Really? On my set up on the joystick having the throttle off is just zero thrust, I have no negative thrust. Maybe it is the way I set it up. I'll have a look at that again.

I'll also look for the manufacturers drivers for the stick, as I am just using the standard MS drivers currently, so that may go a long way towards improving things if I can get that sensitivity adjusted.

Well that his how I own the skies too, I was just hoping the addition of a joystick would improve my performance as well as being more immersive. I think with a little fine tuning it is still a possibility.

So far the only time I've really gotten any succesfull use out my joystick was/is when I play Descent 3 (also 1 and 2).  smile

Talon , dont forget to up the sensitivity for the pitch and yaw axis within the game setup.
Default its pretty low , and qith that rate, you dont get the maneuverability you want ... mines set at 3
