Topic: Black patches

Shadows under the snowtroopers coat tails show as stark, jet black. They're not so obvious in this screenshot (look under the blue DSV name tags to the right of the attack marker), but they're very obvious when moving against a totally white background. I know a lot of players don't see this, but a lot do, and I think they put the Imperials at a severe disadvantage on this map (RV Research Facility). GPU is a nVidia 8800GTX running on an XP OS.

Just last night I noticed this on Endor Clearing:

These black patches on the Rebel uniforms are not visible in normal view – only when zoomed in on the sniper rifle scope.

For me it happens when you're far away from the Snowtrooper. Once you get close it disappears.

Yes, it's always distant, but that's what places the snowtrooper at a disadvantage: the Rebels can see him, but he can't see them at the same distance...

it's easy to make kills this way, but it isn't fair and not fun for the imps
