Well, we would have grabbed an empty server but I kind of assumed ASF had one.
We could have used Himatchi to create a fake lan online and then run a local area game.
Or we could have teamkilled non clan guys and sent them FLIP OFF messages.

That might be a good idea if we were going to start a league of sorts for scrim battles. Otherwise I don't think I have any right to dictate what another clan should do - each clan scrim can be sorted out on an individual basis.
Its not a bad idea to have guidelines though.

RSF is completely free to join, but in order to use the RSF server we'd have to rent space on that server.
This may be a good time to instruct new applicants to RSF on our clan structure.
RSF have 6 levels of games- 0,1,2,3,4 and non supported. If 3 or more RSF guys play a non supported RSF game it can move to level 0, thus becoming partly supported.
First Strike has done this and will likely move into the level 1 section at the end of this month( by meeting requirements). This will lead to increasing support within the clan.
A game must be level 3 before it can begin to use the RSF (in theory at least) and that will require us to rent the space.
Long story short, I'm poor and I'm not going to ask people to do something I'm not prepared to.
Plus there's enough servers there to populate already.

That is a very generous offer. It would be great if clans could use your server for scrims. Would solve a lot of hassle messing around with himatchi and stuff.
Comms would also be useful for clans who lack that kind of set up.
We'd have to give you notice obviously- but I'm sure you could retain rights to the battle recorder files in order to flog awesome movies back to us
