That would be true, except for the fact that vanilla 2142 is entirely broken with this new patch anyways.  (Vanilla 2142 population has dropped to below 1000)

of course the last 2142 (1.5) patch screws up the game so everyone moves to the next game and has to buy new hardware too .    They didnt think of that did they ?

Reverting to older versions will never be popular.

I also play vanilla, and ill probably stick to vanilla if i have to choose (and be it just for fully populated 48 player games)

Having 2 complete 2124 folders on my pc and renaming them like in testing? Not an option!
Too much effort for the gameplay experience i get in return....

Even if the mod was worth it, people are too lazy for all that work.

Some testers and die hard fans will do it, the majority, including me, wont!

Unfortunately reverting to the 1.4 will probably cause too much confusion amongst the playerbase, so I'm going to have to cast my vote with sticking to 1.5 and pray that Dice can make a hotfix update to the game.

So whats the issue with 1.5? If its as bad as your making out surely they're working on a fix as we "speak" That said I don't play 2142 so i'm easy either way
