Topic: T47 Airspeeder - what is it?

The T47 is listed as a starfighter in the FS Wiki, but T47 kills do not appear to count towards getting the Starfighter Pin. At least, I've had 10+ T47 kills and 10+ team points several times on Ryloth, but I've not yet got the pin.

Is is possible to get the Starfighter Pin using the TIEs on Ryloth? Or is it only available on the space maps?

I would think the airspeeder is classified as an air vehicle and not a starfighter.

Not sure if you can get the starfighter pin with real fighters on a ground map.
