Re: Discussion: The Battle of Yavin, who needs a trench?

Thats why those non-flying types dont become real pilots and kill people.
Personally Iv always been a flier, and ever since Descent was released in 1996, Ive seen the difference in people who can handle it or those who get vertigo in a rocking chair.

Re: Discussion: The Battle of Yavin, who needs a trench?

I've never understood people who complain about circle fights. If you don't like flying in circles... don't fly in circles. You're not supposed to dogfight that way, it doesn't produce kills, and since people complain about it between the circle fights they willingly engage in, they obviously don't like doing it. So... why?

I mean, what do you want us to do, implement mind control?

Re: Discussion: The Battle of Yavin, who needs a trench?

Circle fights... pah.  If I find myself in a circle fight, and I know there are allies near, I'll start flying in a straight line taking random but not big turns and jinks so my allies can fly up behind my enemy and blast them.

Someone said something about the Turbolaser seats being ordered.  I can't play Yavin well as I have the Vista + nVidia bug, so I stick to Turbo's when I am imps.  What is the order? I've never figured it out...
