No, it would look dodgy, especially in a view where the gun geometry is visible such as the chase cam. Even in a cockpit view where you can't see the guns it looks wrong.

What if you cant fire while using mouse look?

And what are you going to use to switch between them?

AFAIK, using this engine you can either have mouse look off, or mouse look on.  You can't change between one and the other.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

In vanilla, you could look around with CTRL.

Wow, thanks for the really lovely welcome. I'm someone who's been playing FS since just before 1.2 was released, and only recently got round to registering on the forum.   I made a post acting on information I had aqquired, I was wrong. No need for the agresseiveness.
