Re: MOUSE VIEW IN STARFIGHTER

Even if you are unable to shoot when mouselook is enabled, as in looking around, once the CTRL key is not held down the screen would snap back to normal view and teh laser cannons would continue to shoot in the last direction you faced during mouselook. It cannot be done, not even in SP.

Re: MOUSE VIEW IN STARFIGHTER

hi,
i would like to be clear ,the goal here isn't to to move the laser gun ( like in a helicopter simulation) but just to move the head inside the cockpit as you can do with the original battelfield 2142 , battelfield 2  and others simulation ( joint operation il2 ,lock on, arma...)
the dev's work still great in all the case...

Re: MOUSE VIEW IN STARFIGHTER

We know that is not the goal, the point we are making that the way the weapons are coded, if we shift the player view with mouse look the cannons will fire where the player was looking last, which is an effect we don't want.

So the weapons are coded like the mini guns on the choppers then?
