Lets do this ...  his theory is correct.
And the solution is to ...
Have more than one server playing select maplist.
One plays a set of 3 maps , and My server can host the space maps , and maybe one more for the remaining maps. That way different types of people will gravitate toward the server with their style of map.

The most successfull BFV and 2142 servers have always been those 24/7 servers dedicated to one or two maps.

Honestly , Im a pilot and space maps are my forte.  When Yavin ends , I usually leave the server for a break , unless Taloraan is next, lol.

Yes but there are much more players on vanilla. When someone leave 24/7 Suez canal server because he's bored of playing Suez another one comes to take his place. Not in FS.

Poor Ty, community dissing his fave map.

Bestine is a nice map, to be sure, but Mos Espa has such a dug-in place in my heart that I don't want to see it replaced.
