For this to ever be sold in stores basically Lucas Arts would have to take full rights to it (for free most likely) and then they would have to purchase rights for the game engine to be packaged with the mod from EA.  Neither are very likely to ever occur.

Yeah, EA and LucasArts will probably never have any kind of partnership aswell. Not to mention they have their own engines, both whatever the Battlefront series uses, and the new engine powering the indiana jones game and Force Unleashed...though I suspect the next Battlefront will be using the Force Unleashed engine.

I think it is just reflective of how the entire concept of modding is being lost on PC gamers/manufacturers these days.

How many hundred thousand people are there on Steam...and yet great mods like Eternal Silence and Empires, basically full-fledged, free games, have two or three active servers at the most?

It's just irritating that creativity is rewarded by no one giving a damn, you know?

To be honest, I stoped really playing after my stat wipe.  When I stoped playing the few people who came in with me stoped since they couldn't play with their bud, and didn't like what happened in general.
