I'm testing several differant concepts for lasers. That screenshot shows one of many methods, so there's a chance they will look slighlty differant when complete.

As others have said, I think the GC lasers were too 'bolty'. But if you make them too slow or too long, then they could be too much like Star Trek, but that's my opinion.

the laser also depends on the weapon used, some of them are more bolts than lasers smile

Yeah, repeating blasters were pretty fast.

The main blasters on the AT-AT were pretty blobby like, weren't they? I mean it looked kind of like they had more mass towards the front of the energy.
