Greetings FirstStrike people,

I downloaded and have been playing first strike since it's release and after many months of off and on playing I stopped. I recently came back to this mod with some friends (expecting many patches which I was impressed with since I last played). But I found out that almost no one plays anymore.

I don't know why really, who would ever want to play 2142 after they've played FS? Anyways, the most i've seen on was a game I was in (on the official server) yesterday when there were about 15-20 people including Woodrow and a few others.

It was very fun until the server crashed or disconnected everybody though.
I also hear about this "vanilla" thing... Everyones talking about it but I have no idea what the hell it is?

I hope to see you guys ingame as I scan pretty much everychance I get to see if there are any decently populated servers.
