Seriously. Vista isn't bad...I love vista. I have it on 3/4 of the computers in my house. Its great, its better looking, and you can get used to it. Not liking it because its doesn't look just like XP, or the ways you perform actions is slightly different than XP, or because its more secure than XP makes absolutely NO sense.

Look at it this way- If it had the same interface and everything, same icons, style, etc., as well as the same level of security as XP, and less features, you guys would complain because it's too similar and people would end up saying its not an upgrade because there's nothing new.   

It just follows the philosophy that you can't make everyone happy, and no matter what you do, someone will find something wrong with it.

So stop blaming Vista. But hey, it got me 1.3 early so I shouldn't complain wink

The reason project realty works with vista is because project realty doesn't make maps as big as the battle of yavin.  Believe me we tried everything to fix vista but the alt tab fix is the best workaround.

Seriously. Vista isn't bad...I love vista.

Vista has its pros and cons.  If you're gaming, though, XP is undeniably the better system.  Vista will cause so many headaches for any gamer and if you're running an NVidia card you will also get a rather large FPS drop compared to what the same setup would get you in XP.

I use Vista on some of my PCs, it's a fine operating system for simple things.  If you're gaming, though, it's a serious downgrade.

Then over half the PC market that plays BF2142 will just forget the mod is even there. I mean that crap they gave us that the problem is becuse of Vista, and Nvidia cards was utter bull crap. I don't mean to be rude but claiming an official developer supported OS made by real programers is a cause for a mods problems (Made by hex edditors, and hobbyists) is pritty low. PR works just fine under Vista with normal instal and any version will work. (Thats for BF2 a much older game that oh BTW works just fine as well)

I'm not even going to bother replying to this issue again other than to give you a warning that courtesy rules are in effect on our forums. You've shouted this before and we've explained before.  We'll fix things as soon as we are capable of doing so, and we're constantly trying to learn new things so that we can fix the problems.
