Topic: Unnable to instal 1.3

I download 1.25 to 1.3
I install, it don't work.
I reinstall FSmod 1.2, I dowload 1.2 to 1.3
I install
It don't work
It block when it's patchting, to 43.
I tried again
Still don't work

I know when I  installed 1.25-1.3 I had to put the patch in the FS directory and execute it from there. Other than that Im hoping woody or imperial can help you.

Can't you do a patch like the 1.25 ? a SIMPLE installer ?

I am in the same boat. 

When updating from 1.25 to 1.30 it freezes on 34 of 52.
When updating from 1.20 to 1.30 it freezes on 43 of 63.

When doing these installs I completely uninstalled FS and BF2142.  Including deleting all folders on My Documents and the Hard Drive...completely wiped clean.

Then I install 2142 and patch up to 1.5.
Then I installed FS !.2 Full and then tried to go to 1.30 to freeze at 43 of 63.
Then I installed FS 1.2 Full, then 1.25 tried to go to 1.30 using the other installer and it froze at 34 of 52.

I also tried other variations using the different 2142 patches with no changes so looks like some of us are hosed till someone figures it out or a new patch is released.

This sucks.

It will be very well worth the effort, ask anyone who has persevered.
THe downloads corrupt at a high rate, so dont shoot yourself in the foot by refusing to re-download the last patch ... Do it, and reinstall the patch with the newly downloaded copy ...
Its best when redownloading to try to obtain the file from a different source as well.
I fixed at least three peoples installations with this technique today.
So I know theres bad copies of files floating around out there.
