Also I have downloaded from 2 different sites so far no changes during patching.

It dun work.

First, because it take 5-6 hours to download with MSN, second because Angel tried another way but it didn't worked

3 days to wait, that's not alot

I just reinstalled windows so had to put everything back on, so I know that the patches I have work. Could you guys also post your machine specs and OS so we get a better idea of what you are using.

If you wish, I can transfer to you the FS 1.2 installer and 1.2-1.3 patches I used to update my machine as they should both be good. Let me know nad we can either do it via MSN, XFire or I can try to get them hosted somewhere for future downloads.

Cayden Maverick...yep tried it no go.  Of course I could have messed it up since I don't know how to us Virtual PC at all so probably would need a step by step a-z of exactly how to do it.

I know my 1.2 patch works fine i can launch and everything.

I can also patch up to 1.25 with no issues although when I go to the mod version after updating to 1.25 it says it is still 1.2.  But it does say after running it that it was successful and if I try using teh 1.25-1.3 patch it does start to run prior to freezing.

All I know is I have run out of ideas and I am not reloading my PC since the other 20 games I have loaded on it work fine and this is the only issue on my PC at all. 

I have downloaded the two patches from Filefront, the primary and alt link on this site and gameupdates...highly doubt it has anything to do with the actual patch other then our computers seem not to like that type of installer.  Hopefully when he gets the patch to run like the 1.25 patch it will work.

My computer is a ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe, 4 gigs of ram, HD2600xt, AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Dual Core Processor and running Windows XP PRO x64

Zero issues with any other program or game on my PC other then these two patches which freeze part way through the load.  If I cancel out of the patches/close the process after it freezes and relaunch it goes further in the install then freezes again.  You can continue to cancel/close the process and after about 5 times you will go through the entire install and it will say successful but if you launch the game it is bf2142 and not the mod.
