When i go on first strike servers it always has the map names from 2142

As soon as you have 1.5 installed, reinstall first strike. That should solve your problems.

ok but i could have been because i installed 1.4 to 1.5 when i had 2142 1.10 so i'll try that then your suggestion.

also I'm assuming you have 1.25 AND the 1.25-1.3 incremental patch. Or of course the 1.3 full installer
