Topic: Random Crash After Loading Map

Every Time I try to go into a server (Any Server). Right after it finishes loading it crashes to desktop saying "Battlefield 2142 has stopped working". I can play retail just fine. Never a crash since i started playing. I downloaded your game using Mod Jive. PB is updated. Every thing i can think of Ive tried. It makes no sense at all. I'm just wondering if theirs a way to fix it or am i stuck to playing retail.

Re: Random Crash After Loading Map

Sry bout this. I forgot to check. Mod jive uses 1.2. Ill update and reply if it works or not.

Re: Random Crash After Loading Map

Ok. Nvm it makes the problem worse. I cant even open the game before it tells me "Battlefield 2142 has stopped working". So i need help big time with this BS.

Re: Random Crash After Loading Map

Sounds like you updated it wrong.

Uninstall First Strike (delete your folder in your mods directory), install 1.2 and then 1.3 over the top.

Re: Random Crash After Loading Map

Um i tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still does the same thing. It seems to be a problem with the client cus every other mod i have works fine. Please answer this. I really want to play this.

Re: Random Crash After Loading Map

Errr if it will help here is my system specs.

Motherboard: Asus M2N-E

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000

OS: Vista SP-1

GPU: BFG Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT OC2

RAM: Kingston 3GB DDR2 800 MHZ

Note: I put the wide screen resolution hack into the Target line. I doubt that's the problem cus it works just fine on retail version.
