Download and install this, it will provide the beta update for you.  It's recommended you keep your 1.2/1.3 installers handy or backup your FirstStrike folder before you begin the beta.

We're looking for good feedback here and we will make some new topics in the next day to guide your responses.  Those who we feel do a good job during this test could potentially become permanent additions to the testing team.

Im having a problem with the installer. Im using the digital version of battlefield 2142. The launcher wants me to put in a disc. What do i do about it?

no, RSF does not stand for "Ruthless stupidity forces" (maybe it does today, who knows?)

What's your OS and do you have both the DVD and EADM version installed by any chance?  If you do, delete/rename your bf2142.exe and delete firststrike.exe and restart launcher.

i used to use the dvd but its busted. Now im using the eadm version. Dont want to spend another 50 bucks just for a replacement.

I had a similar problem with the beta launcher, doing this fixed it Danfun.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

I have Vista.32-bit i think i think service pack one.I downloaded it saved,ran, went to new program and i got error 404 thing. if you go to my profile and zoom in oyu can read it better.
