Topic: please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

whenever i try to start up First strike the regular unmodded BF2142 gets started please help this is my favorite mod:'( :'( :'(

Are you using the correct shortcut? If you are using your unmodded shortcut to launch the game, then it will, as normal, launch the normal game.

Check you are using the First STrike shortcut, and if so, check its parameters are correct, right click the shortcut and make sure this is in target.

Default is this:
"X:\.....\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +modPath mods/FirstStrike +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

The +modpath is imporant, you may not have the +menu or +fullscreen though, but they dont matter.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

If you sacrafice it while humming anchient warrior chants, it fixes everything first strike related.

Tried and proven method.

Only when you have exhausted all other means , it does work.
