Topic: Order of install?

Am really interested in playing First strike, so have dusted off BF2142 but am a little confused over all the updates and patches.

Can someone tell me the EXACT order to install everything, I have "northern strike" add on and would like that to be included in step by step procedure to play FS.

install BF2142
patch to 1.4
install NS
patch to 1.4 again!
patch to 1.5
install FS 1.2 client
install FS 1.2 to 1.3 patch

Or, if you don't have Northern strike:

Install BF2142
Update to patch 1.5 (it should give you the download link when you first launch the game and connect to EA Master Server)
Install FS 1.2
Update FS 1.2-1.3
Launch using the new First Strike shortcut.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

Thanks guys, I knew it was complicated.

I have checked out this website:

which appears to have every patch available for bf2142.

1.4 is listed as a beta version, is this the right one to use?

Is it not possible to install NS and FS by use of patch 1.5?

The beta version of 1.4 is OLD , VERY OLD , lol .

I recomend just luanching 2142 normally, connecting the the EA master server and it *should* give you links towards the latest patches.

Is there a way to install/patch BF2142, NS and FS without using patch for 1.4beta?

Please someone give me a procedure that you know works!!

Am very keen to try this game!
