Topic: Thanks for some great rounds!

The first round was over pretty quick, with me back-capping the Imperial Outpost as all the Imps were defending speeder wreck. I then grabbed an AT-ST and joined in the capture of Lower Woods, and then made for the bunker with the rest of the team. Just as my walker was about to go up in flames, the round ended in Alliance victory (see screenie thread) smile .

Second round was more of a prolonged fight. Once we lost the Scout Bike camp, our smart SL decided to ditch the Speeder Wreck and Tree Village and we retreated straight to the Outpost, which we then proceeded to hold with AT-STs (a second joined the first after some minutes), turbo lasers, mines at the entrance to the CP building, and sheer bloodymindedness. The Rebs still had a good deal of tickets, though, so they eventually took the IO and our whole team retreated to the Bunker. Here we massed three AT-ST walkers and infantry, and managed to hold the Rebs off until they bled out. They had about 100-150 tickets left at this point, but having three walkers in one place can do wonders, especially when they're replaced when lost big_smile .

Then Bestine loaded. We Rebels advanced slowly up the hill to the City Steppes, losing an APC before finally taking the place. We then came under heavy fire and the APC's driver fortunately had the brains to withdraw, hiding the thing behind some buildings at the City Steppes CP so it wouldn't take more damage. It got repaired, and was used as a spawn point along with a spawn beacon placed just behind the next CP.

We finally took this CP, too, and the round crashed with me in the tall tower, laying down sniper fire and spotting enemies.

Epic rounds, people. Keep 'em coming cool !
