Topic: The Resurgance of the FS Community Game

There will be an official news post in the near future announcing the beginning of a new set of community games, and we need a little help to make these a success.  We will probably have at least one community game per week on our DSGaming server, but we'd like to expand the community games to other servers (possibly to cover other regions).  If you're a server operator or even a regular player, we invite you to post with your favorite FS server if you'd like to see it included in the upcoming community game rotation.

The official news post will include details for where, when, how much fun (millions), and so on.  That is all for now...

Swell. Can't wait to see good old Taloraan on a full server again. It's been literally months since last time.

Will this be devs and testers vs. pubbers again?

Sounds great!Slightly off topic ive been trying some other mods this week such as Insurgency and Zombie Panic (HL2 mods) and have been amazed at the amount of full servers i have seen for these mods(It saddens me when i look for a FS server and only 1 is populated such a damn shame!)You can just download and install them in STEAM with no bother.What i was thinking was couldnt EA/Dice put First Strike in EA Downloader?I cant see why not and surely there would be more players and servers populated for this brilliant mod:)

Know what? That sounds like a really good idea.  Have the devs tried this?  Mebbe something to look for when 1.35 is released.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

First Strike has gotten EA/DICE's attention. They've been mentioned on official sites and etc. Unfortunately, EADM is NOTHING like Steam, and it would be rather silly to try this.

Yeah this is also not possible due to the whole LA issue, Dice doesnt want to come across as benefiting from our mod so they don't get in trouble im sure.

I think we offer one of the few FS servers in the US and the only one on the west coast. We would like to be included. We also run Battle Recorder on it.
