Re: Name some things you want to do in the CG this Saturday!

I'm not ALWAYS in a fighter. often you'll also find me storming an Eweb emplacement, throwing a well placed nade in amogst a group of stormies, or if your really lucky, sneaking up behind you with a knife in hand.

But I might place nice and play as support or medic as they're my weakest kits.

Of course not. We play maps without fighters sometimes, too tongue .

I play as Support 90% of the time. I find that the combination of strong rifle or the incredibly effective DEMP, easy points from repairing, the satisfaction of being a team player and the ability to blow even big stuff up with heavy explosives suits me just fine cool . The glee you feel when you trap a tank or aircraft with your DEMP and you and your mates slap DetPacks on it for then to take down the crewmen as they bail is unbeatable big_smile .

Hehe, the Demp is indeed a weapon of awesomeness on the right maps. Love taking down aircraft in it, watching the lambda drop to the floor, topple over and blow up taking 8 people is a great feeling. Hitting speeders then watching the driver sit there wondering why he's stopped is also fun! Then whip out the pistol and finish him off.

Re: Name some things you want to do in the CG this Saturday!

I believe myself pretty firmly to be the first tester to put it to use against aircraft in a test session. We were on Ryloth (the first incarnation), and a TIE Interceptor had done a firing pass or two and came in slowly to take me down. I shot it and watched it fall to the ground, and after it had exploded (I don't remember if it decided to sit on its wingtips and self-destruct or if I Proton Grenade-fried it), I got a "What the heck" from the pilot through the text chat big_smile .

Homing EMP missiles would be awesome, if not incredibly overpowered smile .

Re: Name some things you want to do in the CG this Saturday!

Oh, and an ambush! How I would love an ambush!

I picture me and my squad running down a Mos Espa street, and some ping picking up a squad of Imperial stormtroopers coming our way. I order everyone to hide and stay low until they're almost past us. None of them have UAV equipment (now that's freaking likely), and as they pass us we come out from behind the houses, crates and vaporators and blast them to shreds.

Some day, it'll become a reality. Or maybe we testers could set it up on the test server for a teaser movie or something. Who knows.

I wish I could play!

And get at least one knife kill on Herb, SK, Iri, and PanZi.
