I'll vote to keep the kit IF...we make it so it flys slower, AND we can lock rockets on to it. hey, its got a heat source so why not.

I'd vote to have rockets lock onto everything... Aircraft, tanks, jetpacks, speederbikes, Twigs..
It's frustrating when they hit an airspeeder/tie and there's a big explosion and nothing happens. At least there's no speed bug on the tanks , if you see a hit you get a hit.

I'd be reluctant to se them gone entirely because they're lots of fun, so maybe Nerfing them with Twigs suggestions is the answer.
But short term, removing them from Bestine isn't a terrible idea. As long as you put it into Mos Espa big_smile

Re: Community Game 22nd November

I think they should be in the tester build only, tbh, and even then, only for getting from A to B quickly.

I hear rumours, Angel, that there are Jetpacks in Mos Espa.  I heard it a while back on the forums or IRC that there were, in 1.3, Jetpacks in Bestine and Espa.  Thankfully noone has bothered looking, and thank hamsters.  Think about how Espa with Jetpacks would be... its even worsely designed for it than Bestine!

Anyway, BR files are up, first post is updated, here's a link directly -> CLICKY!

I'll go ahead and shoot that one down... There are none. Devs can spawn em there, and have in the past. Rumors happen when someone sees a dev in a jetpack,  which I maintain is a little irresponsible for a dev to be doing.

Re: Community Game 22nd November

At this point the devs step in, spawning large unmannable atat's on everyone even thinking about saying a word with the letter k. Teamkill is turned on and mines set to search and destroy, with all members of the dev team laying said mines within a 200 ft radius of a certain area.

I heard this from a Dev on either the tester forums or tester IRC channel tongue
