Topic: Quick Question

The mod looks amazing, but the only screens i'm seeing is one's of the First Strike maps. Does this download also allow me to play on my favorite 2142 servers with just the character models? If not, is there a way i can? I would love to gun down stormtroopers with my bud in a gunship. Thanks a ton.

Yes and no. By downloading the Single-player mod, I believe you can play regular BF2142 maps, in co-op, but I think it's First Strike materials only then, no BF2142 vehicles or anything. I could be wrong, though.

So I can't just hop online on one of my clan's 2142 server and see stormies runnin around? Is there a way to do that?

No, it is not like the troopers in FS are just a skin, they have different kit etc, as this is a full conversion. So as of right now at any rate there is no facility to play with FS Star Wars character models in vanilla BF2142.

Ask danfun.. he has a vid of himself messing around in 2142 gunships as a stormtrooper (no parachute) so it may be possible with FS Single Player mini mod.

Within the mini mod, yeah, but I think this fella is talking about taking a Stormtrooper skin for a stroll in a vanilla BF2142 server.
