Oh, I guess you guys heard from the grapevine that I asked permission to use some stuff for Freelancer.

Everyone on the team was very gracious to the FS team to let us use some FS ships, and they look fantastic in-game so far.

In any event, Happy Beer Day! I mean, Turkey Day. Yes. Turkey.....


Special thanks to Redmonkey, Jay, and all the creators of said models and textures. It's really great to see fellow Star Wars fans come together to share their work in different mediums.

Wow! That Skipray Blastboat looks awesome! I've been searching for a copy of Freelancer for a long time, but have been unsuccessful. Anyone know where I can lay my hands on one?

Kampher told me about this thread and I wanted to extend my personal gratitude to the FS mod team. The models/textures they've given us will push FW 2.0 beyond what we initially intended.  They look so good in FL, it's wonderful.  I can't wait to be able to use the wrecks of the ships in our death fuses (what happens to a ship after it loses all its hitpoints). 

I'm also really thankful to see that SW mods can get together and collaborate with one another.  I'm hoping one day, down the line, we can reciprocate the gesture of the FS dev team. 

As for finding a version of FL, you can find it for 10 dollars at Target, Walmart and a few other places.  Also, search for it on Amazon.   

As for the typo of Battlefront, I've fixed it, my apologies.  I wrote that in a rush.
