Topic: Walking inside flying ships possible?

Would it be possable to freely walk around the inside of, say, the mellenium falcon while someon else pilots? I think it would be cool if instead of jsut pressing #3 on your keypad and appearing in a gunner cockpit, you would have to walk through a couple allways and press enter infront of the gunner room, or infront of the turret. Do you know what I mean?

That way people would have to learn their way around the ship, and it would jsut feel more starwarsy. I dont know if that would be possible with the BF2 engine. Im guessing you would jsut end up sliding and smacking into walls instead of being able to stand still.

Maybe, although you wouldn't be able to keep the gravity turning with the ship, so any unsteady movement would throw you into a all or ceiling. Also, the collision meshes might give you a shaky experience while walking, and there's no way around faults of the engine. Sorry, bud. tongue It might be doable in some way, though.

Remember GC? When u are in the Imperial Shuttle, if u didn't take a seat and the pilot did fly upside down, then u were standing at the ceiling and sometimes just left the vehicle, cause of the collision

i dont know.. i believe gravity is applied to objects, therefor if the exterior of the ship is given a certain gravity type (zero G) then the interior(different mesh) was given standard prameters then in theory it has a possibility of working. but the lag may be immense.
