Topic: Which BF2142 version to use with FS1.4?

Hi,

I've had some problems getting FS1.4 to work and being able to join the DS server.

First, I uninstalled BF2142, then installed the 1.5 patch, and then finally installed FS1.4 full version.

It starts up fine but when I click "Deploy", the DS server kicks me and says I have to revert BF2142 versions. I thought everyone was using 1.5. So do I install 1.40 or...?

You uninstalled 2142 to install the 1.5 patch?

Install BF2142, patch to version 1.5.  Install/patch First Strike to version 1.4 (build 1003, the launcher will tell you), and you should be able to play.

wait...I uninstalled 2142. Then reinstalled 2142, then 1.5, the FS 1.4 full version (got from woodat).

I got a message saying I had to revert 2142 versions. lol

You need to launch the Game from the First Strike Launcher now

I have this unmodified content error as well and I even use the First Strike launcher.
