no, it won't fix it. as stated above, there is an issue with antialiasing enabled on nvidia cards with drivers 178.xx or higher. try the drivers 177.79, sometimes they appear instable and cause BSOD's but you won't experience any graphical artifacts on the screen.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

i did try this but it doesn't work - i mean there are no graphical glitches but the lines are still jagged even with AAx8

turn off AA in game then select enhance application setting in Nvidia control panel its not quite as perfect as when the game uses AA but it IS the only work around until EA/Dice get off their arse and make 2142 compatible with the latest Nvidia drivers.There is a 1.51 patch in the works from Dice so fingers crossed they address this issue

Have you tried rolling back your drivers to a previous version, or the fix Gwynzer described?
