I have this issue i tested many times just minutes ago while you decided to push the update...

If i delete the profiles folder, i can launch the mod just fine at 800x600, in video options there is no option to choose the native resolution (1680x1050@60), i could use 1024x768, 1152x864 or 1280x960 fine.

Ok, but then i launch bf2142 (no mods) also with +widescreen; in video options i can choose 1680x1050 and the game runs fine. But when i quit and launch the mod, it CTD.

This is because i purchased a 16:10 22" lcd monitor.

You NEED this launcher to play.  you can get it by installing 1.4 Full (will be on the front page soon) or directly from here: http://www.woodat.com/builds/pubclient/ … 7.1pub.exe .  This launcher wil ONLY work if you have 1.3 installed.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

Where do you place the -widescreen.  I used this command in firstrike shortcut for 1.3  +widescreen 1 +szx 1440 +szy 900

This does not work with the launcher.  Where is this file/preferences located, that is mentioned in the launcher.  Talk about vague


edit:  Ok never mind I sussed it.

If you are using widescreen and are having issues just delete your bf2142 folder in my documents (not in program files).

add this command into the launcher file/preferences/arguments  -widescreen 1 +szx 1440 +szy 900
insert what resolution is your monitor's native ie  -widescreen 1 +szx 1680+szy 1050 and so on. Go into settings and readjust the quality as everything will be at default, and away you go smile

Go into the file preferences menu, there is an arguments box.  Place it in there.
