Topic: Added to an article on FSWiki

Hey guys. Unfortunately, my gaming PC is hibernating back in my college dorm while I'm on break, so I won't be able to enjoy 1.4 with you guys until late January. I'm going to love hearing some of these stories though.

Anyhow, I went and added some stuff to the FS Wiki page, mostly to the Dogfighting tactics article. I think the Wiki also needs an update with the new content and stuff.

I think the Wiki also needs an update with the new content and stuff.

I'll get to it once I can get my BF2142 copy installed again. For map articles, the fastest and easiest way is to open (edit) an existing article you think looks nice, for then to Ctrl+A the contents, pasting it into your new article and taking it from there. For example, to write the article on Lok Wastelands, make a new article with this name and paste at least the Order of Battle window from another article. Write a description of the map, add tactics, etc. if you want to, and save it.

Oh, and for those of you who are new to the mod, I heartily recommend the Wiki as it's a goldmine of information on all the mod content (minus 1.4 stuff, that is, but as was said, that'll come smile ), player guides, tech support stuff, etc. You don't need to read everything on there, but there's a lot of stuff to explore at your leisure. The Player Guides are heartily recommended.

lol I've been wanting to add and change a few things on FS's wiki, but I didn't want to step on anyone's toes. tongue But yeah, it definitely needs a little TLC. big_smile

The wiki is a great resource, i just wish the layout and color scheme could get a facelift smile

I've been meaning to redo the whole thing for a while.

I just haven't the time. I'll see if I can get around to it.
