Topic: Can not play First Strike 1.4! Eager to play :(.

Hello, I just downloaded and installed First Strike 1.4 from fileplanet. The first thing I did was launch First Strike and then the First Strike Launcher popped up. It then updated the game with its files and then launched the game. I then clicked to join a server, the server loaded completely then I end up not being able to get in the server with a error message saying I can not join the server with modified content. Try joining with the First Strike Launcher to prevent this.

I also tryed launching 2142 first before First Strike and I got the same error message. Also I noticed when I was on vanilla 2142 I noticed where it said custom games it said First Strike 1.2, but I downloaded first strike 1.4?

Is there anything I can do to get in the fray? I am really anxious to play for tonights community game.

That it says FS 1.2 in custom games is nothing to be worried about, just something we've forgotten to change.

Make sure you have the absolute latest version of the mod, start the Launcher again and go to File->Check for updates. We released another update just this moment which may be the reason you couldn't join. If you're still having problems try reinstalling the game.

people shouldnt be worrying about missing th community game. there is one every week.
