Topic: modified content error

I just got 2142 for this past xmas and had to get this mod, pretty much was the main reason for getting 2142
its great (i loved the GC for 1942)

anyhow
im current with vanilla (1.5 deluxe edition) and the launcher is 1.4/1005
the launcher updated itself yesterday afternoon
i played all day yesterday and a few hours today

but then all of a sudden the server i was bounced me and disappeared from my server list (DSGaming i believe), yet others remained

now when i try to join any servers esp space maps  i get the modified content error or i crash to desktop

ive tried reinstalling FS and the launcher by itself a few times

any ideas?

ill try reinstalling 2142 next

seems to be a problem with the delux version. Does anybody have a working fs with the delux version.

ive been playing for almost a week with no issues
the DVD is the deluxe with both versions on it
seemed like the server failed and screwed something up on my client
idk what though

i tried the suggestions in the 1st link (i wouldnt post before reading stickies or searching but i understand most ppl love to just post away)

ive also tried updating PB manually through PB update
ill try the other way too

i havnt tried to play yet today

i was glad to have FS since i got GTA4 a month ago still isnt patched properly (veryy glitchy and annoying to play) also ive been dying to play FS since they stopped the BF2 FSmod in favor of doing it in 2142 a while ago (i thought that was from the same dev team)

ok i played and the DS server was back i joined it but then i crashed to desktop after a few minutes (i was on the lok wasteland map and i was having a good ole time) sad
now i get the mod'd error again

i did notice when i froze the audio was skipping hmmm what audio settings do you guys use?
i do use my onboard audio though i have an audigy 2 around here that i could use

i just added my avatar too thats me and my gf Halloween 08 we won 50 bucks at a party in the costume contest
we shoulda went to a bar that gave out real prizes lol
