Topic: Is anyone able to play this mod?

I have been working for hours, doing everything I can think of, to get this mod to work. When I first downloaded the mod (v1.2), I read that you needed Battlefield 2142 v 1.25 to play. So, I reinstalled 2142, patched up to 1.25 and installed the mod. I opened it up, logged in, but there were no servers. So I dug deeper and found that FS 1.4 was out and I downloaded that. I reinstalled 2142, installed FS 1.4, let it patch, went to run it and I got a blue screen. This happened three times in a row. So I uninstalled both again, dug some more, and found a post saying you needed BF 2142 v1.5 to play. So I reinstalled 2142, patched up to 1.5, installed FS v1.4 again, let it patch, went to play and again, blue screen.

All of these blue screens occur after the Battlefield 2142 splash. After that, it disappears, the screen goes black, sits there, and then I get the blue screen. Can anyone PLEASE help?

EDIT:
After getting 2 blue screens in a row, I've tried running the First Strike Client again and now I get a message saying "In order to play First Strike, you must have Battlefield 2142 installed"

It sounds like when you reinstalled BF2142 you didnt delete all files correctly. Uninstall 2142 and FS, then delete the BF2142 folder in 'My Documents' and check in program files for a remaining Electronic Arts folder and delete this as well. Now reinstall BF2142 and patch it to 1.5, run 2142 and ensure you can successfully connect to a server, even an empty one. If you still get errors then your machine isnt cpable of running the game or you have a hardware error which should be invetigated first. If successful then install FS using the full 1.4 installer, report back if you have any other errors and I will do what I can to help, it may be the client.zip bug but I'll go into that if you have FS problems after following these instructions.
