Topic: FIXED a BIG known issue with FS and version errors

Guys, I'm not sure who else had this issue, but if you tried playing FS but were getting version errors   and had the latest, there is a VERY EASY workaround.

1. Create a BRAND NEW Player Character after you log into the EA network.
2. Join a FS server with this new character.
3. Presto - version error gone.

I'm not sure what prompted me to do this, but I've been using my older player for months and for some reason it's not compatible with the latest version.  By using a new character, the version error went away.

You mean modifed content?  Thats all EA server stuff you've done there, its possible that the launcher fixed the Modified content error itself by pure coincidence when you made a new account but the two things are unrelated.

Possible?  No.  I've been trying to resolve my issue for a month.  It's to do with my character I was using and the mod - by creating a new character it resolved the issue as the old one I'd been using since the first beta version.  It could of also been corrupt.

Either way, it's still a good work-around. smile

Yeah im having a problem with NS. But as its not very good I dont feel like going through the bother of reinstalling it.
